


After the founders of Invisible Thread did special effects for all of your favorite blockbuster movies, they decided to repurpose those skills to help organizations solve real-world problems. We helped them create a brand package, an illustration style, and a website.
A PICTURE IS WORTH A THOUSAND WORDS
Words are important, but some people are just going to look at the pictures. We tried to account for limited time and short attention spans by visualizing every section of the website. Rather than reading about a project, we crafted short, informative videos that explained the context and solution for each case study.
Rather than a bio photo and paragraph listing qualifications, we wanted to present the founders as the superheros that they are. We asked each of the founders to describe the superpowers of the others, then gave them a superhero name, and illustrated them in action.
We created a visual explainer graphic depicting the company’s origin story and value proposition instead of a standard “About Us” section.
WE ARE ALL IN THIS TOGETHER
Invisible Thread was born out of the lofty idea that storytelling, technology, creativity, and visualization can do more than sell products and entertain. They can address complex problems by helping us realize that we are all in this together—that there is an invisible thread that connects us all. It was a new kind of company that required a new approach. We wanted the look and feel to be futuristic, but also fun and human (as opposed to being sci-fi and robotic). We wanted the language to be clear and concise, but also personal and informal. We wanted it to be clear that they were purpose driven, but also practical and reliable.
