One continuous piece of thick steel, designed specifically for what you need on a nightstand: a bit of flat space for a lamp and an alarm clock, and a little shelf for books and devices. We also wanted it to discourage us from collecting junk, so we intentionally avoided drawers and shelves.

It’s edges are sanded smooth, and the steel is blackened for a result that feels finished, but still a little raw.
